OH, HEEEEY

Why I'm Here

I just graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition—something I've been curious about doing for over 20 years. After spending a decade as a private chef cooking healthy, nourishing meals for clients, I knew this next step would push me in the direction I was ready to move into. Combining my love of holistic cheffing with nutrition coaching feels like the perfect blend of service to others and service to self, and I'm here for all of it.

Talking Hormones

The conversation around perimenopause and menopause is finally growing. We're talking about perimenopause symptoms, menopause weight gain, hormone changes, and how to feel strong during midlife. No more quiet suffering.

Our ovaries are signaling that they're done with the work of making babies, but we? We're still strong, still moving, still loving, and still enjoying all the magic life has to offer.

My hope is that collectively we make real, lasting changes in the medical field. Let's ensure our daughters never feel shame about this natural aging process. Let's make sure they're fully heard when they enter these years, and that there's a wealth of information and services ready to guide them through with confidence and support.

My Journey-

Honestly, I was completely daunted by all things perimenopause when I first started noticing the hormonal changes in my body. The brain fog and spaciness. So real! I have always been a little spacey, but this was rather next level. The sleep disruptions. The random night sweats. The way my body seemed to be changing the rules on me (hello extra weight?).

I'm still learning. So. Much. Just when something starts to make sense, I find that I am trying to figure out some new thing. It’s like having a newborn again, only it’s my body.

But here's what I've discovered in my journey from private chef to nutrition coach: our bodies aren't betraying us during this transition. They're asking us to show up differently. To feed ourselves with intention. To move in ways that honor where we are now, not where we were in our 20’s.

As someone who's spent years in kitchens, I know that nourishing your body during perimenopause doesn't require complicated recipes or expensive ingredients. It's about simple ingredient swaps, learning basic cooking techniques, and having someone guide you through the process step-by-step.

What We're Building Together

I'm excited to start working with clients on their health journeys because I believe we can rewrite the narrative around this season of life. Together, let's:

  • Grow some muscle (strength training is crucial during these years and let’s be honest-you’ll feel better)

  • Make simple, sustainable nutrition changes with easy ingredient swaps and cooking techniques that actually work

  • Learn to cook confidently in your own kitchen—no complicated recipes required

  • Drink more water

  • Nurture our connection to the people and natural environment around us. Community is everything. Sitting in nature and grounding is a must.

What makes my approach different? I'll literally work with you in your kitchen. We'll swap out inflammatory ingredients for better options, learn meal prep strategies that fit your busy life, and build your confidence with simple, nourishing recipes that support your hormonal health.

This isn't about perfection. It's about showing up for ourselves with the same care and attention we've given everyone else for decades.
